A great gathering of local Tibetans, Indians and visiting scholars and dignitaries from abroad was honoured by the presence of His Holiness the Sakya Gongma Rinpoche and Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, at the inaugural function of Tarab Ling, on November 28, 2014, in Dehradun.
A workshop on “Gandhi and Globalization” was held at Dr Vandana Shiva’s Bija Vidyapeet, a Bio-diversity Conservation Farm, in Doon Valley, from 21st to 29th November 2014. The Workshop was attended by many eminent experts from various parts of the world, including from Nepal and Bhutan.

On November 5, 2014, the 75th Birthday of His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche was extensively celebrated, at Central University of Tibetan Studies (CUTS), Sarnath, Varanasi. The event was organised by CUTS alumni.
