Launching of the book “Learning at Bodhshala”

Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche was invited as the Chief Guest for the launching-function of the book “Learning at Bodhshala”, written by Shri Venkatesh, at SIDH (Society for Integrated Development of Himalayas), in Kempty, near Mussoorie, on November 27, 2014.The function started with ceremonial lighting of lamp by Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, followed by Prof. Pawan Kumar Gupta introducing the author Shri Rajan Venkatesh, who explained to the audience the aims and objectives of writing the book.

Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche launched the book, and spoke about the real meanings of education, and the faults and shortcomings of today’s Education. Many prominent intellectuals from Mussoorie and Dehradun came to listen to Rinpoche’s talk.
