Merely by recalling and saying Your name<\/p>\n
One becomes victorious over all outer and inner factors of death,
\nBestower of longevity and pristine wisdom,
\nO Transcended Mother, Wish-fulfilling Wheel (Citt\u0101ma\u1e47i White T\u0101r\u0101),
\nKindly bestow the splendour of eternity!1<\/p>\n
Through retaining and preserving the Teachings
\nOf The Great Minded, Fourth Guide of the fortunate era,2
\nYou lift the victory-banner of the stainless system of the teachings:
\nTo You, greatly inspiring Lama, I make the supplication.<\/p>\n
The golden mast of the marvellous bodhicitta-generation is firm,
\nThe sails of extensive-learning are billowing well;
\nUpon their tip is the radiant gem-top of reflection and meditation:
\nMay You please remain living long3 as the great Illuminator of the teachings.<\/p>\n
The container for the entire trainings on meditative-concentration
\nand wisdom,
\nThe sole inner treasury of The Able One\u2019s [teachings is the Vinaya],
\non being subdued:
\nMay You please remain living long for hundreds of aeons,
\nas a great Vinaya Holder, akin to Up\u0101l\u012b.4<\/p>\n
Through Your greatly sharp weapon of explaining, dialectics and writings,
\nThe darting of crawler\u2019s tongue of the ignorant intoxicated
\nAre brought as adversaries, thus skilfully giving to the embodied beings
\nthe life of permanent happiness:
\nMay You please remain living long as a great Life-Sustainer.<\/p>\n
O Protector, the realm of swirling liquid-crystal (moon)
\nOf Your adeptness, inspiration and nobility, is fully augmented,
\nEmitting forth hundred thousands of soothing accomplishment rays
\nof experiences and realizations:
\nMay You please remain living long as the great remover
\nof the wandering beings\u2019 torments.<\/p>\n
By the marvellous blessings of Victors (Buddhas) and Scions (bodhisattvas),
\nBy the truth of the infallible dependent-link-arising,
\nBy the power of the purity of my [benevolent] exalted thought,
\nMay all contents of aspirations made [above] instantly soon actualize.<\/p>\n
