His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Ugen Triley Dorji, Gyari\u00a0 Rinpoche, Tenpa Tsering the representative of Dalai Lama in Delhi,\u00a0 Dr. Mufti Mohammad a professor in Urdu language, Janab Safdar H.Khan the Secretary of Ministry of tourism Govt. of India and many other members of parliament and dignitaries were also present at the inauguration function.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/samdhongrinpoche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/34.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-391\" src=\"https:\/\/samdhongrinpoche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/34.jpg\" alt=\"34\" width=\"700\" height=\"437\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samdhongrinpoche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/34.jpg 700w, https:\/\/samdhongrinpoche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/34-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exhibited arts of\u00a0 were by Mr. Anis Siddiqui an expert in Urdu hand writing and Mr. Jamyang Dorjee an expert in Tibetan Hand writing. In the Tibetan arts part there were 26 different forms such as, the image of Buddha, the prayer flags, the religious flags and many more which are all made by different forms of hand writings.<br \/>\nProf. Samdhong Rinpoche spoke on the importance of the art of calligraphy at the inauguration function. He said the language in general consist of the sound and the calligraphy, the coexistence of the sound and physical calligraphy gives the meaning to the language therefore if the calligraphy is not protected the language cannot exist by itself, hence it is very important to preserve the art of calligraphy.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An exhibition on Art of Tibetan and Urdu Script and Caligraphy was inaugurated at India International Centre, Delhi on 8th August 2014.
