On 27 December 2018, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche graced the launch of the Monlam Digital Dictionary, Release Two, in the conference hall of Buddha Regency, Bodhgaya. His Eminence Rinpoche gave a talk on the occasion.<\/p>\n

His Eminences Gadhen Tri Rinpoche and Sakya Trizin Rinpoche also gave talks; the event was attended by the honourable abbots, reincarnate lamas, geshes and others.<\/p>\n

On 28 December 2018<\/strong>, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche visited, as requested, the Bodhgaya precinct of Drepung Loseling Monastery, along with the reincarnate lamas of the monastery. The following day, accompanied by the reincarnate lamas, His Eminence Rinpoche visited the Mah\u0101siddha \u015aavaripada cave, located near Bodhgaya.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon of 30 December 2018<\/strong>, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche visited, accompanied by the reincarnate lamas of Drepung Loseling Monastery, the spot where Buddha Shakyamuni stayed for six years of austere practices.<\/p>\n

On 31 December 2018<\/strong>, being the 25th<\/sup> day of the Tibetan lunar calendar, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche and His Eminence Drakyab Togden Rinpoche presided a Lama Choepa (Offerings Rites Delighting Teachers) tsog<\/em>-multitude offering, in the conference hall of Buddha Residency.<\/p>\n

In the morning of 1 January 2018<\/strong>, presided by His Eminence Gadhen Trisur Rinpoche, His Eminence Drakyab Togden Rinpoche and His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, the reincarnated lamas of Drepung Loseling Monastery offered, at the Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhgaya, devotional offerings and prayers.<\/p>\n

In the morning of 2 January 2018<\/strong>, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, accompanied by His Eminence Drakya Togden Rinpoche and the reincarnate lamas of Drepung Loseling Monastery, departed Bodhgaya, for a holy visit to Otantapuri.<\/p>\n

In the morning of 3 January 2018<\/strong>, His Eminence Rinpoche and others visited the great historical Indian monastic university Vikrama\u015bila.<\/p>\n

From 4 January 2018, till 8 January 2018<\/strong>, His Eminence Rinpoche, along with others, visited the holy places V\u0113\u015bali, Ku\u015binagar, Kesari c\u0113tya, Kapilvastu and \u015aravasti.<\/p>\n

From 10 January 2018, till 14 January 2018<\/strong>, at the request of Tulku Association of Drepung Loseling Monastery, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave commentarial teachings on the text Interspersed Praise<\/em>, elucidating Jey Tsongkhapa\u2019s Praise to Buddha for Teaching Dependent Arising<\/em>. Convened in the Korean Temple,\u015aravasti, His Eminence Rinpoche gave extensive gudiance advice at the conclusion of the teachings, followed by dedication prayers.<\/p>\n

In the morning of 14 January 2018<\/strong>, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave,at the same Korean Temple, guidance advice to pilgrims from Korea.<\/p>\n
