Teachings at Gyuto Tantric Monastery

From 28 February 2018, till 17 March 2018, at the request of Gyuto Tantric Monastery, Dharamshala, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave experiential commentarial teachings, in the main congregation hall of Gyuto Tantric Monastery, Dharamshala, on the lamrim texts 1) The Bliss Path for Traversing to Omniscience, by Panchen Losang Choegyan (1570 – 1662) and 2) The Quick Path for Traversing to Omniscience, by Panchen Losang Yeshe (1663 – 1737).

In the lineage format of four-repeats of the instructions, His Eminence Rinpoche gave daily two sessions of experiential teachings, over the 18 days, completing the two texts. During the teachings on generating enlightenment mind (bodhicitta), His Eminence Rinpoche gave commentarial teachings on the text The Seven-point Thought Training, and, in accordance with the lineage of the instructions, bestowed the Rites of Generating the Enlightenment Mind, accompanied with extensive offerings set at the altar.

In the morning of 18 March 2019, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche bestowed, at Gyuto Tantric Monastery, Dharamshala, a longevity empowerment of Buddha Amitayus, in the system of the Greatly Accomplished One. Thereafter, Gyuto Tantric Monastery offered His Eminence Rinpoche a tenshuk, a formal request to kindly continue to live long.
