Teachings at Gyuto Tantric Monastery
For 15 days (from 16 March 2017 till 30 March 2017), at the request of Gyuto Tantric Monastery, Dharamshala, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave the profound spoken commentarial teachings, at Gyuto Tantric Monastery, on the highest integrating tantra of the Glorious Guhyasamāja.
In the precious Whispered Lineage continuity of the commentary “Akśobya Protector’s Words Transmitted,” concerning the two-stages path of the Glorious Guhyasamāja, of the greatly renowned Jeytsun Akhu Sherab Gyatso, of 19th Century, His Eminence Rinpoche bestowed both the lineage transmission-blessing on the instructions, and the spoken commentarial teachings.
With daily two sessions, of over two hours each, His Eminence Rinpoche gave innumerable insights into the practices, with the attendees in rapt attention and reverence. Those receiving the teachings comprised of Reincarnate teachers, Geshes and scholars from all major monasteries; nuns from various nunneries; mountain hermits; teachers and scholars from numerous countries specifically travelling to receive the teachings; lay devotees and practitioners.
On the morning of 30 March 2017, Gyuto Monastery offered a Tenshuk (a formal ceremony requesting His Eminence to kindly continue to live long, for the benefit of the Teachings and the sentient beings).
