Talks at Rishi Valley School and Pavnar Ashram
In the morning of 14 November 2019, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche departed Delhi and via Bangalore arrived at Rishi Valley School, in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh State.
On 15 November 2019, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave a talk, at the gathering of Krishnamurti followers, on “Violence, Identity and Change”, and answered questions. Convened in the hall of the school, it has been the tradition for the followers from across India to gather and have adepts give talks.
On 16 November 2019, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche departed Rishi Valley School by car, and by a flight from Bangalore arrived in Nagpur in the evening. From there, travelling by car, His Eminence arrived at Institute of Gandhi Studies, Wardha district, Maharastra State, where His Eminence was accorded a revered welcome by the Institute’s director Shri Bharat Mahodya and others.
In the morning of 17 November 2019, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche graced the last day of the three-day gathering of friends, under the theme, “Mitra Milan” (“Gathering of Friends”), at Pawnar Ashram, and gave a talk on the occasion. This was a part of programmes of 125th Anniversary of the birth of Acharya Vinoba Bhave; also, 15 November is the day of passing away of Acharya Vinoba Bhave. Pawnar Ashram was founded by Acharya Vinoba Bhave and it was where Acharya mainly stayed during the latter part of his life. A large number of Gandhi’s and Acharya Vinoba Bhave’s followers had gathered for the meet.
