Recent guidance around Dharamshala

At the request of Manjushri Educational Services, Dharamshala, in the afternoon of 22 September 2022, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche observed the children’s books exhibition published by MES, inaugurated the children’s new educational games-items and books, and gave a guidance talk.

At the request of Kyidong Welfare Society, Dharamshala, in the morning of 23 September 2022, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche graced the ceremony of launching the two books: A Supplication to Kyidong Jowo Vati Sangpo, and A Compilation of Biographical Accounts, and A History of Mangyul Kyidong. Convened in the hall of Norbu Hotel, Dharamshala, Prof. Rinpoche also gave a talk.

In the morning of 8 October 2022, Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche graced, as the invited Chief Guest, the inauguration of the Fifteenth Conference on Tibetology, organised by the Youth Group for the Preservation of Culture, College for Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarah, Dharamshala. Rinpoche gave an address too.

In the morning of 8 October 2022, Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche commenced a commentarial teaching on Acharya Vasubhandu’s Vyakhyayukti (The Rational of Explaining), at Sarah College, Dharamshala. Organised by the college’s Youth Association for the Preservation of Culture, and convened in the vihara-temple of the institute, the commentarial teaching is a part of the tutorials on Tibetan Culture, during the Fifteenth Conference on Tibetology, at Sarah. The commentarial teachings were completed on 13 October 2022. Those receiving the teachings were the students from various colleges, and the students and teachers of Sarah College.
