His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche in Chennai and Bangalore

On 20 September 2017 His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche headed to Chennai via New Delhi, from Dharamshala, and arrived in Chennai on 21 December 2017.

On 22 and 23 September 2017 His Eminence Rinpoche presided the Governing Body meeting of Krishnamurti Foundation, India, for the two days, convened at the Headquarter of Krishnamurti Foundation, India, in Vasanta Vihara.

On 24 September 2017 His Eminence Rinpoche departed Chennai and arrived at Krishnamurti Foundation, Bangalore.

At the prior request few months back from Krishnamurti Foundation, Bangalore, from 25 September 2017 till 29 September 2017, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche led a five-day Retreat, for a select group of individuals interested in Krishnamurti’s teachings, at Krishnamurti Foundation, Bangalore.

In the first session in the mornings, His Eminence Rinpoche led meditations, gave guidance talks and had discussion with the participants. There followed viewing and listening to Krishnamurti’s recorded talks and discussions. In the second session in the evening His Eminence Rinpoche gave guidance talks, and had discussions, followed by meditation.

His Eminence Rinpoche gave guidance on the sequence of engaging in Krishnamurti’s teachings, and explained Krishnamurti’s thoughts on (1) the ways of eliminating self-grasping, (2) conceptual thoughts/ concepts, (3) direct perception, (4) meditation, (5) death, (6) and other subjects. His Eminence Rinpoche also comprehensively answered numerous questions during the discussions, fulfilling the aspirations of the participants comprised of a variety of backgrounds: teachers, scientists, educationists, business persons and others.

In the evening of 30 September 2017 His Eminence Rinpoche arrived back in Dharamshala, via New Delhi
