His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche addresses at “Mahakaruna Day Celebration”

January 7, 2015 This afternoon Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche attended “Mahakaruna Day Celebration (The Great Compassion Day Celebration)” in the capital New Delhi, organised by Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, Ladakh.

Rinpoche bestowed awards and gave a talk on compassion, immeasurable compassion, great compassion, and other practices.

Of the large gathering who attended the event, the dignitaries comprise of Shri Kiran Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India, Ambassadors of Thailand, Sri Lanka, Mongolia; religious leaders; Vice-Chancellors; learned scholars, educationists and delegates from foreign countries.
