Guidance in Dharamshala region
On 4 May 2019, at the request of Gyuto Tantric Monastery, Sidhbari, Dharamshala, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche presided over the meeting to discuss Setting of Curriculum and Awarding of Certificates, of the monastery.
During a session each in the morning and afternoon His Eminence Rinpoche had discussions with the monastery’s officials, and gave a guidance talk. Present at the meeting were the Honourable Lama Uzad Rinpoche, the officials of Education Committee, members of Curriculum Revision Committee, and others.
In the morning of 6 May 2019, at the request of Namgyal Monastery, Dharamshala, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche graced, as the Chief Guest, at the second day of the three-day (5 May 2019, till 7 May 2019) seminar of all traditions, on The Splendid Kalachakra Tantra, in commemoration of the 600th parinirvana anniversary of Jey Tsongkhapa, convened in Kalachakra Temple within the Tsuklagkhang complex.
His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave a speech on the occasion. Present at the talk were the Honourable Abbot of Namgyal Monastery and many adepts from the major monasteries.
In the morning of 7 May 2019, at the request of Kirti Monastery in exile, Dharamshala, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche graced, as the Chief Guest, the opening ceremony of the 4th General Meeting of Kirti Trust. With lighting of the ceremonial lamp at the altar, His Eminence Rinpoche formally opened the meet.
Thereafter, Mr Jigme, the intermediate president of the board of Kirti Trust, gave an introduction of Kirti Trust, followed by Losang Tashi, the president of Central Committee of Kirti Trust, giving a brief report of the past three years.
Subsequent to that, His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, the Chief Guest, conferred awards and gratitude cards to organisations and individuals, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of founding of Kirti Trust. His Eminence Rinpoche gave a guidance speech to all the members of the Trust.
At the end, Soru Dhargye, the deputy president of the board of the Trust, gave a speech in gratitude for His Eminence Rinpoche.
