A guidance talk to the teachers of Maewon Paeton Schools (Ancestral-Heritage Model Schools)

At the request of Maewon Paeton Schools, Dharamshala,  this morning (28 May 2016) His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche gave a guidance talk to the teaching staff of Maewon Paeton Schools, of the lower and upper Dharamshala.

Convened in the hall of Paeton School, Gangchen Kyishong, in the talk His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche explained the nature of The Basic Education Policy of Tibetans in exile, the difference between the Education Policy and the Planning of the Syllabus, the richness of Tibetan language, the  range of contribution to humankind in general from the knowledge-heritage and positive insights contained in the texts in Tibetan language.

Pointing out how extremely few there appear to be people who understand The Basic Education Policy, and besides touching upon other issues, Rinpoche explained the essential points of The Basic Education Policy. Rinpoche thereafter answered questions from the participants.

Those who attended the talk comprised of the Executive Director, Sambhota School Administration; the Principal of Maewon Paeton School; and others.
