Guidance speeches at events around Dharamshala
During the past fortnight His Eminence Prof.Samdhong Rinpoche graced several events around Dharamshala as the Chief Guest and the keynote Speaker. The following is a summary of the online news posted on the day of each event.

His Eminence Prof.Samdhong Rinpoche graced as the Chief Guest at the “Astrologer Excellence Award Ceremony,” in the Community Hall, lower Dharamshala.
Gathered at the event were Astrologers from all over India, to whom His Eminence Rinpoche presented the awards and gave a guidance speech.
The ceremony was organised by the national magazine Samast Bharat.

His Eminence Prof.Samdhong Rinpoche graced as the Chief Guest the celebration of “Hindi Day,” in the hall of the main Office of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL; Government of India’s telecommunications enterprise), Dharamshala, who were also the Organisers of the event.
Prof. Rinpoche gave a talk, to the gathered Indian audience, on the importance of the Hindi language. Besides the Special Guest Mr. Sikander Hayaat Khan (Principal, DAV Public School, Dharamshala), those who attended the talk included General Manager, Deputy General Manager, other officials, and the staff members of BSNL, Dharamshala.

At the request of the movement “India Unites for Animals”His Eminence Prof.Samdhong Rinpoche gave a talk on the requested topic of “Compassion for animals and urgency in passing of Animal Welfare Bill,” in the hall of LHA Ahimsa House, Dharamshala.
Organised by “India Unites for Animals,” the event was in commemorating the day a Worldwide Movement against Animal Abuse and Demand for Animal Welfare Bill.

His Eminence Prof.Samdhong Rinpoche gave a talk to the teachers and students of School of Social Works, Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, in the hall of LHA Ahimsa House, Dharamshala.
The topic requested for the talk was “Tibetan perspective on Death and Dying, and the importance of having a healthy relationship with this natural part of life,” followed by Q/A.
